New Brazilian plug design |
The Brazil Agency for Technical Norms, in conjunction with INMETRO, have declared as of January 2010, all plugs for electrical equipments manufactured or imported into Brazil must be of a new format. The design will be of 3 pins, with the middle pin slightly out of line with the outer two. They will use this format regardless of the voltage utilized in a particular region. |
